Priya Pillai is a Software Engineer in the Sabeti Lab working on making tools for viral diagnostics more efficient and widely available. She is generally interested in improving the design of computational biology software for greater accessibility. Priya graduated from MIT with a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science and Biology in 2020, where she studied how robust optimization for geometric programming models changes design space exploration in the Ideation Lab.
