Alexander Petty is an undergraduate at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics with a focus in Computer Science and is pursuing a secondary in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He works as one of the Heads of the Operation Outbreak Textbook, focusing on developing pedagogical content that emphasizes the interdisciplinary foundations of outbreak science and infectious disease. His work was previously supported by the Harvard Program for Research in Science and Engineering (PRISE).
Outside of Operation Outbreak, Alexander is a member of Harvard’s varsity men’s swimming and diving team. In his free time, he also enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and listening to country music.
