Allison Krunnfusz is a research associate in the Sabeti Lab. She is currently working to improve the transduction potential of muscle-tropic AAV capsids. Allison received a B.S. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2019. There, her research focused on characterizing biopharmaceutically-relevant P450 enzymes from the terpenoid-indole alkaloid pathway in camptotheca acuminata. Based off her experiences in the lab, Allison hopes to pursue a PhD in the future. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and doing yoga.
