Elizabeth is the Education Lead for the Pathogen Genomics Center of Excellence, where she develops learning modules in genomic epidemiology and pathogen evolution to prepare the public health community to combat current and future infectious threats.
Before joining the Sabeti lab, Elizabeth was most recently a science writer in the Klarman Cell Observatory at the Broad Institute, and she was previously a science editor at the STEM video publisher JoVE. She completed her Ph.D. at Princeton University, where she studied the evolutionary genomic processes associated with range expansion in eastern coyote populations.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys reading thrillers, playing with her cat, and running very slow 5Ks.
