Emily is a research associate in the Sabeti Lab. She is working to improve the specificity and efficiency of adeno-associated viral vectors.
Emily received a B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University. As part of her program she spent time researching AAV production at Dimension Therapeutics and CRISPR/Cas9 knockdown of HSV-1 infection at Editas Medicine. These experiences piqued her interest in the potential of viral mediated gene therapy. She hopes to pursue a PhD in the future.
