ERICA NORMANDIN, Ph.D.

Erica.N.sized

Erica Normandin was a PhD student in the Systems Biology program at Harvard University. She plans to apply her interests in virology and computational biology to study the evolution of Powassan Virus, an emerging tick-borne flavivirus.

Erica has a B.A. in Biomedical Engineering from Dartmouth College. There, she completed a thesis in Margie Ackerman’s Lab, studying immune response to HIV. Subsequently, she studied the immune response to various human pathogens in John Mascola’s Lab at the NIH’s Vaccine Research Center.
