Liana Tellez was a Research Associate in the Sabeti Lab from 2019-2021. During her time in the lab, she worked on a project to engineer Adeno-Associated Viruses to improve delivery specificity for gene therapies. During the pandemic shutdown, she also worked for two months in the Genomics Platform on the COVID-19 diagnostic testing initiative. Liana is now pursuing a PhD at Harvard’s Biological and Biomedical Sciences graduate program, where she hopes to focus on stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
