Parvathy Nair is a Research Associate at the Sabeti Lab. In the lab, she works primarily on an independent project exploring biological variants linked to cognitive traits, and also contributes to projects investigating SARS-CoV-2, Lassa Virus, and science communications. More broadly, she is interested in the fields of neuroscience, public health, and is preparing for medical school.
Parvathy graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. During her time there, she completed an honors thesis investigating associations between temperament and cognitive flexibility in 7 lemur species in Dr. Alexandra Rosati’s lab.
Outside of the lab, you can find Parvathy singing, training in Indian classical dance, and trying to roller skate.
