Siavash Zamirpour

SiavashZ

Siavash is an undergraduate at Harvard College, where he studies chemical and physical biology. He works on diagnostics for Powassan virus using qPCR- and CRISPR-based assays. He is interested in developing molecular and genomic tools to better detect, survey, and understand Powassan virus and other infectious agents. His work has been supported by Program for Research in Science and Engineering (PRISE) and Herchel Smith undergraduate research fellowships.
