Pathogens can spread silently, evolve rapidly, and threaten human health on a global scale. Led by Dr. Pardis Sabeti, we are a team of scientists, mathematicians, public health professionals, and educators working to stop the next infectious disease outbreak before it starts. We are developing new ways to track outbreaks, diagnose diseases, and uncover fundamental biology. We are based at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and we partner with infectious diseases researchers across the globe to deploy our capabilities where they are needed most.
